I tried looking over the updates this morning,but cannot open the main rules or marine armored forces anymore

Both are working for me just fine from work. The new files are word instead of the old PDFs (as it is much easier for me to use word files). Could that be the problem?

I apparently forgot to put a couple of updates on the disk (like the Leviathan). They are coming soon.

According to the updated 207 rules attackers can "duck" in the trenches for a 2+ cover save. Can defenders also "duck" for a 2+ cover save as they could in 2006? BK

Yes, looks like a sentance got deleted for the defenders.

Isn't it in the Fortification Rules? Page 7 of your rules "Hard Cover: Defenders on the walls (whether tanks or infantry) get a 4+ save against any attacks from outside the walls." I guess not the same as the "ducking" but there is a cover save mentioned. I guess the sentence does end with a comma, perhaps thats where the 2+ save was deleted.
